Our staff at Arbor Vet is dedicated to giving the most current and practical care that will help your animal friends live a happy and healthy life. Our goal is to provide the same choices for your pet that we would consider for our own furry companions.
Arbor Veterinary Services has been serving the surrounding community since 2001. We provide vaccinations, physical exams, and medical/surgical services for companion animals, including dentistry, radiology, ultrasound, cryosurgery, and laboratory testing. Our hospital also offers behavioral counseling. We also have an on-site pharmacy and carry Purina prescription diets and we can special order Royal Canin and Hills prescription diets.
Meet Our Team
Dr. Sara Hodgdon
Dr. Sara Hodgdon grew up right here in New Hampshire. She received a degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. After practicing equine medicine for 2 years, she switched her focus to small animals. Dr. Hodgdon joined the team at Arbor Vet in August 2011. She loves spending time with her miniature horse, 2 dogs, and cat, and also enjoys running, hiking, and being with family and friends.
Dr. Maria Clark
Dr. Maria Clark grew up in an animal loving family and her interest in veterinary medicine developed at an early age. She earned her BS in animal science from the University of New Hampshire, then went on to attend the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with her DVM degree in 1987. She returned home to New Hampshire to practice small animal medicine and surgery and over the years has developed strong interests in senior pet medicine and pain management. When not at work Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters on their small farm in Canterbury. Her current pet family includes Tracker, a German Shepherd; Aila a border collie, Trevor an English Setter and two cats, Andre and Felix.
Tricia grew up in Amesbury, Massachusetts. In 1999 she married her Husband Dave and moved to Epping NH. She has 3 children: Olivia, David, and Lindsey. She has a Great Dane named Elinor, two cats Oliver and Chloe as well as a Dusky head Conyer named George. She joined the Arbor team in 2014.
Danielle grew up in upstate NY and earned a B.S in Zoology from UNH in 2007. She spent 4 months doing research in Africa and has a deep passion for wildlife conservation and anything outdoors. She spends most of her free time on top of mountains, around campfires or hanging with friends. She has 2 rescue dogs (Mama and
Meghan graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2003 and started working as a veterinary technician at a hospital in CT. After meeting her husband, she moved to NH and joined the team here at Arbor vet in 2009. When she is not at work, she is running her own business, Vinyl Freaks and spending time with her husband John, cat (Legacy), and her beagle (Cano).
Nate is a New Hampshire native and earned a bachelors degree in forestry from the University of New Hampshire in 2010. He loves working with exotic animals and spent several years doing terrestrial biology research in Mexico before starting his career in shelter medicine at a local humane society. When not at work he likes spending time with his wife(Amy), cat(William), dog(Ella), and their many reptiles. He also enjoys kayaking and hiking around the state and woodworking in his shop.
Sam was born and raised in New England where she grew a passion and love for animals. Sam started working at Arbor Veterinary Services her senior year of high school. Sam feels like this was a start to her future. She wants to someday expand her passion for helping animals in any way she can by giving animals a voice and support. When Sam isn’t working or spending time with friends and family she likes to be outside with her dogs, either hiking or just in the backyard playing ball.
